Push-Fit Straight 10mm x BSPT 1/2" Male

Straight adaptor from 10 mm OD tube to a 1/2" BSPT male thread.

Key features

• Connects tube straight into a threaded port on a housing, pump, tank or tap fitting
• Plated metal thread with a push-fit socket
• BSPT thread: a tapered thread that seals on the thread itself. Supplied with sealant on the thread; add thread tape if you refit it

How to fit

• Cut the tube square with a tube cutter and check the end is clean and unmarked
• Push the tube in past the first resistance until it stops, then pull back to check it has gripped
• To remove, turn the water off, hold the release collar in and pull the tube out
• A drip when the water goes on usually means the tube is not fully home

Good to know

• For cold water. Drain the line in freezing weather
• Keep grit off the tube end, as it damages the seal inside the fitting
• Maximum working pressure 150 psi (10 bar)
