RO Membrane XLPFT-4021 - 100PSI 4x21"

Extra-low-pressure 4021 reverse osmosis membrane, rated at 100 psi. At about half the length of a 4040, it suits compact trolleys and tight van layouts where a full-length membrane will not fit.

• Rated output: 1,000 gallons per day, about 3,800 L a day or 160 L an hour, at 100 psi
• 98.5% salt rejection
• 533 mm (21") long, 100 mm diameter
• Fits a standard 4" x 21" membrane housing
• A 100 psi element, where many 4021 membranes are rated at 150 psi

How to use

• Always run sediment and carbon pre-filters ahead of it. Free chlorine must stay below 0.1 ppm
• Supplied dry. Flush a new membrane to waste for 5 minutes before you use the water
• Never close the waste valve completely
• Follow it with DI resin to polish the water to 0 TDS

Good to know

• Rated at about 40% of the output of the 4040. Choose the 4040 if you have room for it and need the volume
• Real output depends on water pressure and temperature
• Keep it wet once it has been used, and never let it freeze
