RO Membrane XLPFT-4040 - 100PSI - 4x40"

Extra-low-pressure 4040 reverse osmosis membrane, rated at 100 psi. Standard membranes are rated at 150 psi or more, so a low-pressure element like this makes more pure water at the pressures a window cleaning system actually runs at. It is the usual size for van-mount and high-output trolley systems.

How to use

• Always run sediment and carbon pre-filters ahead of it. Free chlorine must stay below 0.1 ppm
• Supplied dry. Flush a new membrane to waste for 5 minutes before you use the water
• Never close the waste valve completely
• Follow it with DI resin to polish the water to 0 TDS

Good to know

• Real output depends on water pressure and temperature. Expect less than the rated figure on tap pressure alone and more with a booster pump
• Individual membranes vary by up to 15% either side of the rated flow
• Keep it wet once it has been used, and never let it freeze
• Chlorine damage is permanent
