2.5" x 10" Sediment Filter

5 micron polypropylene sediment cartridge, 2.5" x 10". It goes first in the filter train and catches sand, silt, dirt and rust before they reach the carbon filter and RO membrane.

How to use

• Fit it as the first stage, ahead of the carbon filter
• Change it when it discolours or when you notice a drop in water pressure or flow

Good to know

• It does not remove chlorine or dissolved solids. Pair it with a carbon cartridge ahead of an RO membrane
• A blocked sediment filter cuts pure water production, so it is cheap protection for the membrane
