Softwash

Proportioners & Injectors

Proportioners and injectors for mixing softwash chemical on the fly: 3-valve and 4-valve softwash proportioners, acrylic manifolds, CPVC metering valves with Viton seals, and X-Jet chemical kits and replacement tips.

A proportioner lets you change strength between a wall and a roof without batch mixing. Use the X-Jet calculator for X-Jet soap doses and the softwash mix ratio chart for target strengths.

Proportioners & Injectors: common questions

How does a softwash proportioner work?

A proportioner draws water, sodium hypochlorite and soap through separate metering valves into one manifold, so the pump sprays a mix set by the valve positions. Turning the valves changes the strength instantly, with no batch mixing in the tank.

What ratio does an X-Jet tip give?

The ratio depends on the tip colour and your machine’s flow. For example, at about 15 L/min a red tip draws roughly 1 part chemical to 16 parts water, and a beige tip roughly 1:10. Our X-Jet calculator lists every tip in litres per minute.
